The bot personalizer allows users to customize the username, profile picture, bot online status, and more!
- Go to the Discord Developer Portal and select "New Application" in the top right corner.
- Enter your desired application name and accept the Discord Developer Terms of Service (TOS) & the Discord Developer Policy.
- In the "General Information" section on the Developer Portal, set the application name (you can change it later) and upload a profile picture for your bot.
- Head over to the "Bot" section in the left-hand menu.
- Click on "Reset Token" to obtain your bot token. Copy this code and keep it saved during the set-up.
- In the "Bot" section, enable the following intents:
- Presence Intent
- Server Members Intent
- Message Content Intent
Never share your bot token with anyone!
Remember to keep this token secure and never share it with anyone.
- Go to the Bot Personalizer Plugin on the MEE6 dashboard and click "Enable Bot Personalizer."
- Enter your bot token in the field "Enter your bot token here..." and click "Enable Bot Personalizer."
- Promptly invite your bot to the server. Once added, ensure that the bot is online. If the bot is functioning correctly, you can now remove regular MEE6.
To edit your custom bot, go to the Bot Personalizer Plugin plugin and make the desired changes.
Change the username of the bot.
Modify the profile picture of the bot.
Adjust the current online status of the bot. Choose from Online, Do Not Disturb, Offline, or Idle.
Customize the activity of the bot. Select from Playing, Streaming, Listening, Competing.
Change the text of the activity. For example, if the activity type is set to Listening, and the Activity Text is "/help," the activity will display as "Listening to /help."
